To help you plan for a successful implementation of the Bio-Back, we have prepared this sample implementation plan. We are happy to work with you to modify this plan to meet your unique needs and ensure your success!
- Set a goal to prescribe your initial supply of Bio-Backs over the next week.
- Review the upcoming week's appointments to identify those patients suffering from lower back pain.
- Flag those patient charts so the doctor can determine if the Bio-Back is suitable for them.
- Obtain any payer required pre-authorization as appropriate.
- Dispense and bill.
- After billing the Bio-Backs (see billing tips):
- Set follow up appointments for those patients to monitor their experience with the Bio-Back.
- Monitor those claims for reimbursement to verify each claim is paid.
- Evaluate your patients over the next few weeks to determine how many patients meet the Bio-Back's recommended indications for use. This analysis will help you estimate how many Bio-Backs might be prescribed per month and project the additional revenues and profits that will be added to the practice.
